African Portfolio Garners Kudos

Getting away from it all has a new meaning for some clients of Old Greenwich-based African Portfolio Inc., a custom tour company specializing in safari adventures to Africa.

"One trend we're seeing is that someone will say, 'I lost my job and I'd never have the time to do something like this.' So they say they're just going to go for it," said Diane Ebzery Lobel, president of African Portfolio.

"They see a safari as a unique, once-in-a-lifetime chance to have an amazing experience. They can step back from everything that's going on and rejuvenate," she said.
