Summer is a good time to do what we call “marketing infrastructure” updates on your company’s social media pages. To start, here are some quick tips to refresh your LinkedIn profile:
- Social media platforms are always changing. Explore LinkedIn’s new features, such as client recommendations and a share button, which you might want to try out and incorporate.
- Spend some time mining your connections, your connections’ connections, and your groups of prospects. This allows you to efficiently sort out and pursue potential clients.
- Create a company page and get all your client-facing employees set up with LinkedIn accounts, using guidelines you set for company-wide usage. This takes the pressure off of having one person manage and update the company’s profile, and keeps the page active.
